FlowerTrials 2026: GRANDE moments and exciting new products

FlowerTrials 2026 were once again a huge success for us: many international visitors took the opportunity to discover our latest varieties and developments. The atmosphere at the event was positive throughout, characterised by keen interest, lively exchanges and many valuable discussions with trade visitors from all over the world.

Two promising carnation novelties were added to our “One in Dianthus” presentation: ‘Red around the clock’, a new Dianthus variety in an intense red with exceptionally high colour stability, and the new GRANDE series featuring large-flowered carnations in a classic style and attractive colours for medium to large pots. Both series expand the range with attractive and versatile varieties for marketing in spring and summer.

Once again, RCS® 2.0 proved to be a major crowd-puller. This innovative and sustainable rooting system, which roots cuttings directly in biodegradable cellulose bags without the need for growing medium, attracted great interest from visitors and led to spirited discussions.

We created striking accents with the colourful Dalaya® Garden dahlia series. The numerous varieties in classic and two-tone colours impress with their robust growth, high resistance to powdery mildew and an exceptionally long flowering period.

Another highlight was French Flair, a strong contender for the FleuroStar 2026. This compact, profusely flowering Origanum perennial delights with its purple flowers, long flowering period, high heat tolerance and a successful combination of decorative appeal and ecological benefits.

All in all, we look back on a very successful FlowerTrials week with many international guests, great interest in the new varieties and numerous inspiring discussions.
